Perth

Hello All,

Down Under crew fine.

Perth is beautiful.  Very nice.  Hot, but dry.  Like Colo in summer.  Lots of wind.  They call it the Freo Dr.  (Fremantle).  They say it fondly because it is a welcome cooling off .  We found it a little windy all the time.  They have a massive park, Kings Park--what else--except Queens of course--Anyway, it is 1000 acres.  Huge.  Fantastic.   Pam, you would have adored it there.  The plants and trees there are so amazing and many are only found in WA. Like the Boab tree.  And a lot of the native plants dont have leaves, he called them freons?..they come off of the stamen and they are flat and weird shaped.  It all evolved that way because of ths lack of water.
